submission
instructions
Please follow the guidelines for submitting
new manuscripts below. failing to do so will result in return of the
manuscript without review.

Length
There is no page limit set for
articles, however, authors are urged to be concise due to fix length of total number
of journal pages.
Electronic Format
Manuscripts should be in English and written in a clear and
concise style suitable for an international audience of academicians and practitioners.
Footnotes should be held to a minimum.
A manuscript may consist of several files, including at
least one file making up the text portion of the manuscript and other files that
contain supporting graphics or data.
Please submit your manuscript in electronic format either
by mailing a diskette or a CDROM to the address given below or by sending the manuscript as an email
attachment (Zipped file) to editor
(AT) spatialhydrology (DOT) com.
Manuscripts will be accepted in RTF or MS Word
file formats
ONLY. The tables, figures and
worksheets should be embedded at the end of the main manuscript with
titles.
Please do not send them as a separate file(s). Please never add a
header or footer on first page of your manuscipt.
Text font
Arial 10, single column with 14 pt line
spacing
Heading(s)
should be presented in verdana 10, bold type. Please
don't
use upper case for entire title of the paper.
Table(s)
should have titles which make clear what they contain (i.e.,
Table 1, 2 etc.). Terms should be written out when first used along with their
abbreviations, which can subsequently be used in place of the terms.
There are limit for number of table ( 5 ). If your paper
exceeds limit for tables , there will be a
processing of $10/
table to
include additional tables.
Figure(s)
should have title (Figure 1. ......). Submit all figures as separate graphics files in a common
format like JPEG, BMP, tif, pcx or gif.
AutoCAD files
must be converted into JPEG format. Author
can include five figure in manuscript at no cost.
If
your paper exceeds limit for number of figures, author(s) can include
additional figures at the cost of $10/figure. Please
make sure that there is no extra space/border around figure.
Workheet(s)
should be saved as MS excel worksheet or text files. Graphics and
spreadsheets should not be embedded in text files and vice versa. Each graphic and table
should be stored in a separate file and titled (i.e., Fig 1, 2 etc.).
Equation(s)
All equations in a paper should be
labeled as Equation (1), Equation (2), etc. If your paper has equations.
There is no limit on
the number of equations in
the manuscript.
Video and sound file(s)
should be stored in the following formats: AVI or
MPEG and AIFF, AU or WAV, respectively.
Units and Symbols
International Systems of Units (SI) should be used wherever
possible.
Literature cited
All references should be cited in the text and listed in
alphabetical order in the reference section. The following arrangement should be used:
author's last name, initials, publication data in parentheses, title of the work, and (in
the case of books) the place of publication and publisher or (in the case of articles) the
periodical title, volume number, and page numbers.
References in the text to the
literature should be made by means of the last name(s) of the author(s) and year of publication in
parentheses and chronological order; for example, (Jones 1993),(Matthews 1994, p. 120), (Francis 1994, chap.
4).
