Software

BodyViewer   mapping software for use in the field of health. Provided by GeoHealth.
EpiAnalyst Extension for ArcView GIS is a tool and resource kit for spatial-epidemiologic research. The extension contains spatial cluster analysis software from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR).
Epi Info 2000 epidemiologists and other public health and medical professionals can rapidly develop a questionnaire or form, customize the data entry process, and enter and analyze data.  Epidemiologic statistics, tables, graphs, and maps are produced with simple commands such as READ, FREQ, LIST, TABLES, GRAPH, and MAP.
Epi Info 6 allows rapid setup of new entry forms and data files, easily customized data entry, and many data management and analysis tech.
Epi Map 2 displays counts or rates on geographic maps supplied or drawn on the screen. Colors, shading, dots, or noncontiguous cartograms can be used to show any type of numeric data related to map boundaries.
HealthMapper
:  is a database management and mapping system that has been developed to support planning and decision-making at both macro and micro levels. The HealthMapper simplifies the collection, storage, retrieval, management and analysis of public health data. Moreover it simplifies the use of geographic information systems and mapping and provides a user-friendly interface to spatial and statistical analyses of public health data.
